  2. Victor Vasarely was born in Hungary in 1908. He developed a mathmatically oriented type of abstract art in the 1960’s called Op Art.

  3. Vasarely worked as a graphic designer and began his career in Op Art with black and white shapes and images.

  4. Optical Art used repeated forms and colors to create movement and vibrating effects.

  5. Vasarely used repeated forms and colors to fool the mind and give his work a 3-dimensional look.
