  2. Laertes Quote: “To hell, allegiance! vows, to the blackest devil! Conscience and grace, to the profoundest pit! I dare damnation. To this point I stand, That both the worlds I give to negligence, Let come what comes; only I'll be revenged Most thoroughly for my father.” Explanation: Laertes is saying he only wants revenge and doesn’t mind the consequences. Song Metallica-Nothing Else Matters. “All these words I don't just say and nothing else matters” “never cared for what they do never cared for what they know” Explanation: The song doesn’t talk about revenge, but it means that nothing matters except for what matters to you.

Ophelia Quote Hamlet: “Where’s your Father?” Ophelia: “At home my lord” Ophelia: “My lord, I have remembrances of yours, That I have longed long to re-deliver; I pray you, now receive them” Explanation: This is where Ophelia first lies to hamlet, returns his stuff and says she can’t see him anymore. Song Pearl Jam-Betterman “Tell him, take no more, she practices her speech” “She lies and says she's in love with him” Explanation: In the song, it talks about a women who lies to him and it is obvious.

  4. Claudius Quote Polonius: “It hath the primal eldest curse upon’t A brother's murder. Pray can I not, Though inclination be as sharp as will My stronger guilt defeats my strong intent” Explanation: Here Claudius is trying to pray and admitting his guilt to killing the king. He is saying it to himself though. Song Metallica-Seek and Destroy “You've always been taking but now you're giving” “And it won't go away 'til our dreams are fulfilled” Explanation: The song basically talks about karma, getting what you deserve, death and things like that.

My gorge rises at it.” Explanation: Hamlet is looking at the skull of a jester he once knew and shared good times with. Song Nickleback- Photograph “Look at this photograph Everytime I do it makes me laugh” Explanation: The singer, in his terrible voice, talks about how he remembers good times he had while looking at a photograph.

I am poison’d” [Dies] Explanation: This is where Gertrude truly realizes Claudius is a liar, but its too late she dies. Song Brandon McCartney- Heard Her Cry “This for all the women across the world that’s in an abusive relationships with a man,
and their sacred to talk about it, and don’t know how to get out of it! This is what she told me: she called my phone up, she crying every night,
she’s saying that she’s sleeping with the devil” Explanation: The writer of the song, was one of the greatest country singers of all time and he had an extensive amount of experience with women that were in abusive relationships with other men. To this day he has a dedicated task force and mob devoted to him. The song talks about a relationship that isnt true, and abusive. The queens relationship wasn’t abusive but was untrue.
