Karen Parsons, the Regional Development Manager at Children's Links, aims to boost the effectiveness of the Voluntary, Community, and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector supporting children and young people in the East Midlands. The initiative focuses on building networks with local Children's Trusts, workforce development, and essential infrastructure support, including commissioning and safeguarding. With national support from DCSF and a steering group of diverse organizations, including NSPCC and local youth agencies, the project seeks to share best practices and insights across nine authorities in the region.
