Revenue Cycle Applications Group Key Accomplishments for 2008 • Implemented new Physician NPI Set-up & UB04 Claim format, replaced UB92. • POA – Present on Admission Set-up, new data collection requirements for billing and SPARCS. • Medicaid’s New OP Ambulatory Procedure Group coding logic and reimbursement Set-up for Clinic encounters. New logic for OP reimbursement like the IP Diagnostic Related Groups. • Successfully Installed and support for NDC’s ePremis product, which provides a Claim Manager and a Claim’s Clearing House. • Bay Ridge Go-Live – Registration and Billing Set-up. • We have Completed merging 40,000 patients, reducing our MPI by 20,000. This is a prerequisite to interfacing with multiple systems. • We are live with Accu-Match in the Emergency Room and Admitting areas and will be live in the OPD area by March 2009. • Eagle Support for Clintrac MR Coding System & for Lawson Implementation.

Revenue Cycle Applications Group Looking Ahead 2009/2010 • Further rollout of APG in 2009 • Implement remainder of the Accu Match in 2009 • Implement Document Imaging Report Distribution tools to incorporate the existing FISRAS reports distribution system. • Train and Encourage users to use the document imaging system product to use for data analysis and business planning. • Implement Business Objects Data Integrator Solutions. • Migrate legacy data from dbase to Microsoft SQL environment. • Streamline information submission to various agencies including SPARCS, UHC, DOH and NYCLIX.

Customer Support Group Key Accomplishments for 2008 • Deployed over 500 New Devices. • Provided resolutions to over 12,000 reported incidents. • Consolidated support technicians, Desktop & 1st level applications support functions to a single point of contact. • Completed support center maturity assessments by HDI. (Help Desk Institute) • Provided professional training to most of the staffs on Windows Vista, Mac, Citrix, Customer Service Skills, and Certified several of the staff by Help Desk Institute.

Customer Service Group Looking Ahead 2009/2010 • Extend business hours from 8am to 8pm & by 2010 extend to 24/7/365 days. • Upgrade Track It 7.0 (incident management system) to 8.5 & implement best practice. • Introduce online customer feedback and launch self service. • Full implementation of ASCD (automated skills based call distribution) system. • Introduce ITIL methodology and KPI (Key performance indicators). • Increase remote support, and first call resolutions including mobile users.
