  1. Under 10s secure first silverware of the season for CCC Clifton under 10s have become the club’s first trophy winners of 2012 courtesy of four straight victories in the Salford Cricket Development Group competition. The team beat Swinton Moorside, Roe Green, Winton and Irlam to wrestle the trophy back after winning it in 2010 but narrowly losing out last year. The competition offers the opportunity of a first taste of hard ball cricket to the juniors and this year’s squad have really benefitted from it. Representing Clifton during the games were:- Dan Ainscough (captain), Harry Golland (vice captain), Charlie Cook, Callum Doyle, Max Mulligan, Tom Rawding, Leah Greenhalgh, Ben Gratrix, Jemson Appleton, Tom Forbes-Leith, Tobias Wroe, Jordan Burns and Max Hanley.
