  2. Assignment for 8/6 – due Tuesday • Both groups will research and find the answer to the question below. Print out your information and bring to class to share on Tuesday. Summarize the answer to your question in one paragraph. This is a grade. • Group 1 – How were the “mentally ill” or “abnormal acting” persons treated during the Middle/Dark Ages? • Group 2 – How were the “mentally ill” or “abnormal acting” persons treated during the Renaissance/Reformation?

  3. In Class Discussion & Writing • Create an organizer – 2 columns with enough room to write 5-6 pieces of information from your classmates. Do not ask classmates to repeat over & over. Doesn’t need to be word for word on your paper, just write the main idea. Bullet points are fine. We will begin with group 1 sharing, then 2 • Finally, at the end of each column, summarize the information into at least 3 sentences, no more than 5. Share with class. • The purpose is to infer how people were treated based on the information you found. • Hand in graphic organizers and printouts.
