Statistics/Polls • A preliminary study1 found that high-density drilling can still have a harmful impact on our environment • A study conducted by Franklin & Marshall college3 found that 35% of Pennsylvanians support a tax increase on companies that extract and sell natural gas, while 49% do not support this. • A poll conducted by Gov. Rendell gathered that 78% supported gas severance tax while only 14% opposed it1
