  4. Adaptations: • Big front teeth to cut trees • Feet to walk • Sniff air to make sure no one is coming • Eyes lids to protect them under water • Beavers store twigs branch for winter food

  5. Food chain • Beavers eat leaves and bark • Beavers store twigs and branches • Beavers are herbivores

  6. Interesting Facts • They can swim less than hour after their birth • Beavers live 8 to 10 years • Young beavers stay in their parent’s lodge for 2 years • Usually predators attack young beavers • Beavers fur is valuable
