This study evaluates the workplace readiness, information behavior, and preparedness of engineering students enrolled in cooperative education programs. Conducted by Jon Jeffryes and Meghan Lafferty, the research involved a population of 42 students, with 36 respondents primarily from Mechanical Engineering. The initiative focused on the resources students utilized, including a portfolio program, teamwork workshops, and information literacy integration, to enhance their readiness for the engineering workforce. Insights derived from this assessment can inform libraries and departments supporting engineering students.
