  3. Why I Chose Stanford University I chose Stanford University because it’s one of the top schools in California, and I think it will be the perfect college to start off my study of medicine.

  4. What is a Graduate Student?What is an Out-of-State Student? A graduate student is a student who continues school after graduation. An out-of-state student is student who has not met the legal residency requirements for the state and is often charged a higher tuition rate at public colleges.

  5. What is the GPA requirement? For Transfer Students, the GPA requirement is 3.75 For High School Entrants, the GPA requirement is 3.0

  7. What is Stanford Known For? Stanford University is known for entrepreneurial character, drawn from the legacy of its founders, Jane and Leland Stanford, and its relationship to Silicon Valley. Research and teaching stresses interdisciplinary approaches to problem solving. Areas of excellence range from the humanities to social sciences to engineering and the sciences.

  8. Tuition Stanford’s tuition per year is $41,250.
