  2. Grommets • What is a Grommet? Grommet is a hoop that is inserted into a hole through a thin material. Grommets often referred as ‘eyelets’ are commonly found in everyday places like shower curtains, surgical devices etc. They are generally used to cover the sharp and rough edges of a hole in a metal. In electrical applications, they are called as ‘insulating bushings’.
