  7. Logging On – SAP GUI • To log on to an R/3 system with the SAP Gui, you need the proprietary SAP Gui (Graphical User Interface) software loaded on your system and an internet connection Internet Connection Account on SAP R/3 System in Missouri PC with SAP Gui

  8. Go to the SAP Logon – ANYWHEREAPPS.NIU.EDU

  10. Log On (you cannot delete the asterisks (“*”)… just type your password, which to start is SAP4US)

SAP Easy Access • SAP Easy Access is the standard entry screen displayed after logon • The tree structured menu is the heart of visual navigation in SAP R/3 • In order to go to a transaction you need to browse through SAP easy access just like you browse to click on a file in windows explorer

  24. System Messages • E = Error • An invalid entry has been made • The cursor moves to the field where the error has occurred • W = Warning • A possible error has been made • The user can continue without changing • I = Information • Feedback from the system © SAP 2009 / Page 25

  25. Logging Off • System > logoff • Exit button For security purposes it is important to log off SAP whenever you leave your PC. Your user name is linked with all transactions you perform providing an audit trail. © SAP 2009 / Page 26
