  6. The Challenge of Voter Registration Every election year, millions of Americans miss the opportunity to vote simply because of missed registration deadlines or other voter registration problems. In 2012, a group of organizations came together to change that– and a holiday was born.

  7. NVRD: 2012 and 2013 Successes NVRD was a massive success in 2012 in 2013, engaging thousands of citizens, volunteers and organizations: • 350,000 + voter registrations! • 2,154 participating organizations from all 50 states • 14,380 volunteers • 809 NVRD events in 2013
