3. Determining your organizations registration status as supplier with Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corp – US (NPC-US) Select one of the following to learn more. If you do not know your organization’s status as a supplier with NPC-US, click ‘Do not know’. • Potential, Non-Registered Supplier • Has not completed a registration in the NPC-US Supplier Directory • Does not have an ID and Password for the NPC-US Supplier Directory • Has not transacted or conducted business with NPC-US in the last 20+ months or ever • Potential, Registered Supplier • Has completed a registration in the NPC-US Supplier Directory • Has an ID and Password for the NPC-US Supplier Directory • Has not transacted or conducted business with NPC-US in the last 20+ months or ever • Invited to Register to qualify as an authorized Supplier • Is a Potential Non Registered or Potential Registered supplier • Has received a formal, system invitation to register (for non registered supplier) or complete the Tax Form Section (for registered suppliers) • AuthorizedSupplier • Has Password/ID to Novartis Supplier Directory • Has been transacting with NPC-US within the last 20+ months • Adheres to NPC-US Standard or contractual Terms and Conditions • I Do not know my organization’s supplier status with NPC-US 3 | Registering in the NPC-US Supplier Directory | Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corp.| Aug 2009 |

4. Potential - Non-Registered Supplier Actions • Enter the NPC-US Supplier Directory Website(www.supplierdirectory.novartis.com) • Enter as a Supplier • At the next screen, click the ‘Create a Profile’ link (do not click the link related to email invitation/ existing registration as it will prompt you for an ID and password) • Continue through the screens and complete all information requested. • Follow instructions exactly as directed if you are required to print and fax any forms. • Only until you have completed entry of ALL sections and faxed ALL forms (if required) will you be considered a Potential, Registered Supplier of NPC-US • Upon registration completion, an ID and password will be sent to you via email 4 | Registering in the NPC-US Supplier Directory | Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corp.| Aug 2009 |

5. Potential - Registered Supplier Actions • Log into the NPC-US Supplier Directory Website (www.supplierdirectory.novartis.com) • Click the “modifying your existing registration” link • Enter your ID and Password (Click the “Forgotten your Password” at the user login screen if you cannot remember your password) If you cannot remember your User ID, please send an email to sdadmin.account@novartis.com for support assistance • Review and update all information as needed or review all information. 6. Currently being on-boarded to qualify as an authorized Supplier of NPC-US (part 1 of 3) • Receive email invitation to register on the Novartis Supplier Directory. Email will include an ID and Password. (if your organization has never registered, you will be prompted to create and ID for your organization and customize your password at the beginning of the registration process) • Click the supplier directory link in the email • Enter as a Supplier • At the next screen, click the ‘email invitation/ existing registration’’ link (do not click the ‘Create a Profile’ link related to as it will prompt you for an ID and password) • Copy and paste the ID and passwords provided in the email. 7. Supplier On-boarding Process – Understanding the process for ‘Invited’ Suppliers (part 2 of 3) Novartis Vendor Master Novartis Buyer Novartis Associate Novartis Systems Supplier Who Submits ‘Supplier Request Eform’ Initiates Supplier Directory system invitation Registers in Supplier Directory Supplier is activated in NPC-US Systems Conducts Background check of Supplier Action Notes 2 Business Days 6 Business Days Supplier Responsibility Duration 1 day 1 day • If an ‘Invited’ Supplier does not fully complete the Supplier Directory registration, an reminder email notification will automatically be generated every week for up to 4 weeks. • Invited suppliers will not receive a confirmation if they approved as an authorized NPC-US supplier (A supplier will know if they are authorized if a NPC-US purchase order or a payment is issued 7 | Registering in the NPC-US Supplier Directory | Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corp.| Aug 2009 |

8. Tips to ‘Invited’ Suppliers When Registering… (part 3 of 3) Supplier • Complete your Registration immediately upon receiving an invitation. The sooner your organization is registered, the sooner NPC-US can transact with you! • When faxing Supplier Diversity Classification forms and/or Tax forms, do not use a fax coversheet. Follow the detailed instructions provided during registration process. Failure to follow the instructions will cause delays. Failure to fax the required documentation will not allow Novartis to proceed with the on-boarding process. • Review the Registration FAQs within the Supplier Directory (appears on the left side menu) when registering. It will provide additional tips and help about some required certain data fields . 9. AuthorizedSupplier • Review and update all information when changes occur (e.g. change of address, Tel, fax, etc..). • Review registration data annually for accuracy • Authorized Suppliers are required to review their tax document (W9 or W8BEN for Foreign suppliers) for accuracy . If any information needs to be updated, the supplier will need to update the appropriate fields in the directory, then reprint the bar-coded tax form, sign and date the form, and fax without a cover sheet to 866-835-0254. . The bar coded form will automatically upload to your profile. 10. Don’t know my Supplier Status with NPC-US • Enter the NPC-US Supplier Directory Website (www.supplierdirectory.novartis.com) • Enter the site as a Supplier • At the next screen, click the ‘Create a Profile’ link (do not click the link related to email invitation/ existing registration as it will prompt you for an ID and password) • Continue through the screens and complete the information requested on the General Information and Company Information screens. • If you receive a pop up box indicating a profile for your organization exists in the directory, stop and contact the NPC RTP Organization at 866-240-3191 or send an email to sdadmin.account@novartis.com for assistance. • If you receive no pop up box that blocks you from registering, proceed to complete your registration. 10 | Registering in the NPC-US Supplier Directory | Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corp.| Aug 2009 |
