  2. DEFINITION Mercantile Customer – a non-residential customer: • That consumes more than 500 MCF of natural gas per year at a single location or as part of an undertaking having more than 3 locations within or outside the State of Ohio, and • That has not filed a declaration with the PUCO

  3. DUKE ENERGY’S FIRM TRANSPORTATION GAS SUPPLIER PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS • Provide proof of Commission certification if serving residential and/or non-mercantile customers • Complete and sign Duke Energy Ohio’s: • Registration and Credit Application for Retail Natural Gas Suppliers • Gas Supply Aggregation/Customer Pooling Agreement • Provide required credit and financial information along with signed credit application • Pay a registration fee • Demonstrate a working understanding of the electronic communications capabilities necessary to transact business with Duke Energy Ohio • Complete Duke Energy’s supplier training program • When registration requirements are met, Duke Energy Ohio will provide you an ID and password to allow access to Duke Energy Ohio’s Electronic Bulletin Board (EBB)

ELECTRONIC BULLETIN BOARD (EBB) You may use the EBB to: • Nominate gas deliveries and allocate gas to customers, pools, or other suppliers • View confirmed nominations/allocations at the city gate • View all eligible imbalance trade offers • Create an imbalance trade offer • Transact an imbalance trade • View daily IT pool balances • View pool membership • Receive online notification of Operational Flow Orders • View MDQ and daily TSQ figures

  5. REQUIREMENTS Firm Transportation Gas Suppliers already participating in Duke Energy Ohio’s service territory must: • Maintain certification with the PUCO to serve residential and/or non-mercantile customers • Comply with requests from Duke Energy Ohio regarding creditworthiness re-evaluations • Notify Duke Energy Ohio of any changes in their financial information
