  7. NOISE I like noise. The whoop of a boy, the thud of a hoof, The rattle of rain on an old metal roof, The hub-bub of traffic, the roar of a train, The throb of machinery numbing the brain, The sound of birds chirping, the baa of a lamb, The rush of the wind, a door on the slam, The boom of the thunder, the crash of the waves, The sound of a river that races and raves, The crack of a rifle, the clank of a pail, The shuffle of a postman delivering the mail. From any old sound that the silence destroys Arises a clanging of ear-popping joys. I like noise.

  8. I’m A Little Snowman (Tune: I’m a Little Teapot) I’m a little snowman, Short and fat. Here is my noseAnd here is my hat. When the sun comes out, I melt away. But when it’s cold,I’m here to stay! I'm a little snowman round and fat,Here are my mittens,Here is my hat.Add a little scarfAnd a carrot nose.I stand so tall When the cold wind blows.
