  2. Orange Elementary School Local elementary school located in Orange, Virginia

Worked with 3rd and 4th graders • I had the privilege to go to the local public elementary school in Orange County, Virginia and assist teachers • I would start out by helping different students with their words to know for the week and then help with understanding words and meanings in the students reading books. • I would also help out the teachers in any way whether that meant helping organize for next class or grade assignments.

  4. Book Club I also worked a book club through my senior year. The book club was with the local private school.

  5. Book Club • For book club I led talks about the different books I would sponsor. The students would have two to four weeks to read as many books as they wanted • We would then meet up over lunch and have discussions about the books. • The books ranged in genre from fantasy, graphic novels, and adventure books.
