Structure or form. 2. Why do we need? Sometimes it is hard for us to find the words to say what we feel. At other times we don’t feel up to praying 3. Example The Lord’s Prayer

  4. Unceasing Prayer 1. Breath Prayer, Continual Prayer (Pray consistently) -- Short and Simple (Best example, tax collector’s prayer) 2. Practical unceasing Prayer Working, sitting in the bathroom, driving, fishing. 3. The goal: Union with God.

  5. The Prayer of the Heart 1. Heart to heart prayer (child & father) Abba prayer-utter intimacy 2. Spirit to spirit prayer Holy spirit praying within us 3. The response of love Simple love-come and speak to God Falling asleep in prayer is no problem
