Overview • The Worker Safety Rule and its implementation is coming—PSOs need to be prepared and there is a lot of work to be done • The model will be the nuclear safety process and if sites have robust programs here, it should be straightforward to adapt their programs to ES&H • Preparation upfront will go a long way to helping contractors with enforcement down the road Erbschloe/Yanek, ISM Workshop,April 24-27, 2006

Workshop Expectations for the PSO 851 Breakout Groups • Identify 4 or 5 key issues related to: • The development of the written worker safety and health program • Implementation of 851 • Unresolved policy issues • PSO representatives will report back at Wednesday’s 851 panel session Erbschloe/Yanek, ISM Workshop,April 24-27, 2006
