Main Purpose The purpose why I built this invention was to give your dog a treat in a easier way without going into the pantry/ food closet to get one.
Items Used Two books Five X-box games A tennis ball Train Tracks Cardboard box Milk Bone(dog treat) Dog bowl A piece of wood
Chain Reactions X-box games fall and knock each other down. Fifth( and last X-box game) hits tennis ball. Tennis ball rolls down the train tracks and hits dog treat.
Energy Transfers -Motion to Gravitational( X-box games knock each other down and then the last one falls down completely) Motion to Motion ( Tennis ball moves down the tracks from the X-box game’s force and then hits the dog treat) Motion to Gravitational ( Dog treat quickly moves off box and falls into the dog bowl)
Energy Transfers Sound to Motion( When the treat fell into the bowl it created a sound wave because of the noise then my dog comes to eat the treat)
Problems/Solutions • P: Some of the X-box games weren’t staying up and they kept falling down. • S: Adjusted what side the X-box games were on. • P: Once the ball rolled down the tracks it didn’t hit the treat. • S: I lined up the track with the treat so the ball would hit the treat and it did work.
Problems/Solutions P: The treat wouldn’t fall in the bowl. S: I made sure that the bowl was right next to the box so the treat would directly fall in the bowl. I experienced many problems during the course of testing the invention. But I was able to make it work in the end.
