Causes of otitis externa: • It may be associated with dermatologic diseases, particularly allergic or immune-mediated skin disease (e.g., food allergy dermatitis, atopy, and contact dermatitis) or systemic disease (e.g., endocrinopathies such as hypothyroidism or Sertoli cell tumors),Bacterial infection, foreign bodies and parasites.
