Sample Data Planet Press takes sample data which is raw text in a format and places an overlay on top before printing. This overlay can contain boxes, lines, shapes, etc. It also allows you to place your logo on your formats. -

Understanding Printers Install physical printer on Planet Press machine Create first virtual input file printer on Planet Press machine, share and set as generic/text only. **Virtual printers are added to the Planet Press machine and are setup for the WinQueue Input. They receive the print command from the DDMS machine, then search for the format and real printer in the work flow. -

Create second printer on DDMS server as a local port - pointing to the virtual printer you just sharedin Step 2 Example: \\planet-press machine name\share name This sends the job from DDMS over to the virtual printer. Change the input printer at the top (WinQueue) to the printer from Step 2 (virtual input file printer). 6. Change the output printer to the physical printer to which to print. 7. Conditions Conditions can limit the custom formats that you need. For example, you can: Change logos/addresses based on location. Change messages based on Prepaid vs. Charge.
