Document Clarifications • management reserve in Cobra bucket, contingency to be tracked outside • flowcharts all formatted alike by EG&G, scheduling one revised again to include more participants • added PMTs back into system description • added functional manager responsibilities in several places • free physicist policy ref added to 005 • in kind work to be tracked with milestones for schedule variance – added in 004 and 006 • inclusion of references to specific CPR formats and minimum requirements to use CPR1 and CPR5 in 006 Lab-Wide EVMS Project Core Team Meeting

Variance Threshold Gap • CPI and SPI Color Thresholds for both Accumulative to Date and Rolling 3 Month Average • Green .88 – 1.2 (.1 gap between green and yellow 1.2 to 1.3) • Yellow .85 - .88, 1.3 – 1.5, Not updated in past 30 days • Red <.85, > 1.5, No data Lab-Wide EVMS Project Core Team Meeting

  5. Status of Document Approvals • Ed Temple has signed the Implementing Procedure and System Description Signature Pages • Pier signed System Description on 14-Oct. Lab-Wide EVMS Project Core Team Meeting

EVMS Rollout Suggestions • Plan on memo from Pier to be sent to all current and planned project folks, plus D/S/C heads for distribution down • Article in Fermilab Today (in the Director’s Corner or separate article) • OSC suggested short presentation to lab sr management meeting • OSC suggested that Field Financial Managers specifically be informed • OSC suggested PM appointment letter from Pier specifically mention use of EVMS as requirement Lab-Wide EVMS Project Core Team Meeting

  7. Next Steps • By 17-Oct the approved System Description and Implementing Procedures posted on OPMO webpage available for all to access • Rollout System to Lab Lab-Wide EVMS Project Core Team Meeting

Highlights from Presentation to Pier • FYI, FRA was created only to manage Fermilab, therefore won’t use this system for another contract • Discussed free physicist concept, Pier agreed using milestones and details in schedule to manage and not costs is ok • Pier fully supports that NOvA needs to get EVMS implemented and with all CAMS knowledgeable Lab-Wide EVMS Project Core Team Meeting

Highlights from 9-Oct Oversight Committee Meeting • Discussed who should be invited/required to attend the training – need to make the list • Discussed roll out – prior slide • Comments on tools – agreed would help us have some standardization, but takes long time to develop? • Informed them on MR/contingency determination in Cobra • Handling spares is not needed for EVMS certification process Lab-Wide EVMS Project Core Team Meeting
