SENSE IMAGERY – the ability of the reader/audience to see, hear, taste, touch, and/or smell (in their mind…with their imagination) what the author is describing. SETTING – the place, time, time period, and visual scene the audience/reader needs in order to fully understand the text. POINT OF VIEW- the way an author tells the story. (1st person, 3rd person, 3rd person omniscient) THEME – the overall meaning the reader/audience gets from personalizing and interpreting a literary work. AGENDA – THEME – What’s it Good For?
