OUR COMMITMENT TO THE LOCAL CHURCH 1 Corinthians 16:2 On the first day of every week, each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with his income, saving it up, so that when I come no collections will have to be made. Malachi 3:10 Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. “Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it.”

OUR COMMITMENT TO THE CHRIST 2 COSMOS VISION • 2 Corinthians 8:8 I am not commanding you, but I want to test the sincerity of your love by comparing it with the earnestness of others. • 2 Corinthians 9:6-8 Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

FAITH PROMISE GIVING FAITH PROMISE GIVING is money God will give through us, that He may NOT give to us if He could not TRUST us to pass it on for HIS WORK. 2 Corinthians 8:3 For I testify that they gave as much as they were able, and even beyond their ability. Entirely on their own, HOW CAN ANYONE GIVE BEYOND THEIR ABILITY TO GIVE? 2 Corinthians 8:5 "And they did not do as we expected, but they gave themselves first to the Lord and then to us in keeping with God's will."

  5. Our Faith Promise to C2C is always Over and Above what we are now giving to local church. We do NOT rob the local church through our Faith Promise! Through our Faith Promise we commit to the wider work of God.

GIVING LIKE DAD! • 2 Corinthians 8:1 And now, brothers, we want you to know about the grace that God has given the Macedonian churches… • 2 Corinthians 8:9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.

GIVING LIKE DAD! 2 Corinthians 9:9-11 As it is written: “He has scattered abroad his gifts to the poor; his righteousness endures forever.” Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. 11 You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.

  8. GIVING LIKE DAD! 2 Corinthians 9:9-11 (Message) As one psalmist puts it, He throws caution to the winds, giving to the needy in reckless abandon. His right-living, right-giving ways never run out, never wear out. This most generous God who gives seed to the farmer that becomes bread for your meals is more than extravagant with you. He gives you something you can then give away, which grows into full-formed lives, robust in God, wealthy in every way, so that you can be generous in every way, producing with us great praise to God.

  9. GIVING LIKE DAD! 2 Corinthians 9:12-14 This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of God’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else. And in their prayers for you their hearts will go out to you, because of the surpassing grace God has given you. 2 Corinthians 9:15 Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!
