In this term's media project, I created a magazine of my own choice, focusing on the conventions of magazine covers. Initially, I learned about essential elements such as the masthead, which is crucial for branding. I also explored other conventions like the cover image and captions. Using Apple Mac computers and Point software, I produced a polished magazine layout that resembles those in newsagents. This experience taught me the intricacies of magazine design, as well as the importance of visual storytelling and effective marketing strategies.
