About SL and the Greater Stockholm Area Greater Stockholm Area • 1 900 000 inhabitants • 20 % of the Swedish population SL • 500 lines (bus, metro, train, light railway) • 6 000 stops • 670 000 travellers every weekday (2 383 000 boardings) • 80% of the inhabitants travel by SL at least once a month

  3. SL Internet • sl.se since 1998 • wap.sl.se (wml) since 2000 • mobil.sl.se (xhtml) since 2006 Statistics (average per day May 2007) • sl.se: 105 000 visitors • mobil.sl.se: 26 000 hits (not including jpl) • wap.sl.se: 5 600 hits (not including jpl) • Journey planner: 207 000 requests

Services today – mobil.sl.se and wap.sl.se • Journeyplanner – HaCon • Inhouse developed services • Realtime information for a selection of lines • Disruption information • Information about sms-tickets and zones • Contact information and contact form. • Personalization, Mitt SL - settings stored in sl.se • Based on static html/wml – editors can’t update information

Upcoming • mobil.sl.se based on Epi server cms. • Possibility for editors to more easy publish news, or other content of current interest • Enhanced device handling • New design for mobil.sl.se • New real time information for all lines (by Trivector/Hogia/Init) • New disruption information by (Ciber/Hogia) • Real time/disruption information in jpl • Advanced settings in jpl • Possibility to store Mitt SL-settings in mobile

The users • Survey made by SL marketing analyzis department in january 2007 • 1011 inhabitants in Greater Stockholm area, 15-74 years old with access to the Internet. • 99% have heard about sl.se. • 95% have used sl.se • 43% use sl.se at least once a week. • 68% have heard about SL’s mobile services • 20% use mobile Internet services • 18% have used SL’s mobile services • 52% says that printed time tables can be replaced by the jpl
