  2. History About India • Martimer Wheeler, in 1947, put the age of Harappan civilization between 2500 and 1500 R.C. • In the early 1960s, D.P. Agrawal used the radio-carbon dating and chronologically situated this civilization between 2300 and 1700 B.C.
