Referencing refers to a citation style. • The method of identifying and giving credit to the author for his/ her innovative work that you have used in your work is called referencing. • A reference usually holds the author's name, date of newspaper, name and the location of the organisation, name of the book, DOT, etc. • The referencing is done at two levels: • In-text citation: A brief reference in the body of the text. • Detailed citation: The reference that is mentioned at the end of the document.
