Analyzing Anti-Suffragette Campaigns: Posters and Public Opposition

The suffrage movement faced significant opposition, especially as suffragettes adopted more militant tactics. One of the most prevalent methods of opposition was through the use of posters designed to undermine the suffragette cause. This analysis examines the methods employed by anti-suffragette posters, exploring their themes and approaches to discredit the movement. It also poses critical questions on the effectiveness of these sources and which particular message stood out in its impact against the suffragettes.
