  2. Plop, plop, plop. I thought it was heavy rain. The next morning I woke up shivering to find a white blanket of snow outside the cozy cottage, deep in the woods.

  3. Lilly my golden haired girl in a green t-shirt and skirt called “Nanny, breakfast time”. I quickly put on my pink and white slippers and scuttled down the stairs, like a crab.

  4. “Granddad lets go and build a snowman”. “Sounds great!”. “So we need a hat, scarf, twigs, coal and carrots. Yes, yes, yes, yes, ohnowe don’t have carrots! I’ll go and get one from the best vegetable patch in the world.”

  5. When I got there all the carrots gone? I stopped to think then peaked into the kitchen asI knew that Nanny collects carrots every dayand sure enough there they were.

  6. I quietly chose the mostspectacular one and took it back to Granddad who was having a cup of iced tea with the no nosed snowman, who was melting faster than a popsicle in a frying pan!! By Ruby Blu
