  1. Flow Cytometry Performance Evaluation and Training Program (FlowPET): Mission Statement • Flow Performance Evaluation and Training (FlowPET) is an open collaborative project for the immune monitoring field. The mission of FlowPET is to • Promote best practices for standardized analysis of flow cytometry immune monitoring assays • Provide high quality resources for technical training in analysis of flow cytometry immune monitoring assays • Provide a comprehensive performance evaluation tool for analysis of flow cytometry immune monitoring assays

  2. Flow Cytometry Performance Evaluation and Training Program (FlowPET): Leadership • Janet Staats, Duke CFAR: janet.staats@duke.edu • Cliburn Chan, Duke CFAR: cliburn.chan@duke.edu • Scott White, Duke CFAR: scott.white@duke.edu • Sylvia Janetzki, ZellNet, CIC: sylvia@zellnet.com • Cecile Gouttefangeas, University of Tuebiingen/CIP: cecile.gouttefangeas@uni-tuebingen.de • Steffen Walter, Immatics, CIP: walter@immatics.com • Cedrik Britten, Ribological, CIP: cedrik.britten@ribological.de • Katherine McKinnon, NCI: mckinnonkm@mail.nih.gov • Yolanda Mahnke, UPenn, CIC: Yolanda.Mahnke@uphs.upenn.edu • Michael Kalos, UPenn, CIC: Michael.Kalos@uphs.upenn.edu • Lisa McNeil, Pfizer, CIC: Lisa.K.McNeil@pfizer.com • Jacqueline Smith, Dartmouth, CIC: Jacqueline Smith jys@dartmouth.edu • Jianda Yuan, MSKCC, CIC: yuanj@mskcc.org • Steve De Rosa, University of Washington, HVTN, sderosa@fhcrc.org

  3. FLOW-PET Online and independent Project without borders Maintained in collaboration For the immune monitoring field Duke CFAR, CIC, CIMT, HIPC, NCI, HVTN and more (open invite) • Performance Evaluation Tool: • Register online at any time • Choose degree of difficulty • Download Fcs files (changing) • Use own gating strategy to analyze • Report results online • Receive immediate statement about participation and closeness to target range (pass/fail?) • Training tool: • Fcs files for download (varying degrees of difficulty) • Gating strategy recommendations (optional use) • Target range of results

  4. Flow Cytometry Performance Evaluation and Training Program (FlowPET): Budget • Website • Design ~ 100,000 over two years • Maintenance • Meeting funds ~ $20,000 annually • Statistical funds ~ $10,000 • Reviewers ~ $20,000

  5. Flow Cytometry Performance Evaluation and Training Program (FlowPET): Sponsors • CIMT ~ $50,000 and/or assistance with website development and implementation • CIC • Beckman Coulter • BD Biosciences
