Fundraising • 8th Grade T-shirt • All students are required to have a shirt for field trips • Snow Cone Truck (tentative) • 20% of truck’s profit go to 8th grade. • Turkey Bowl and Marlin Cup • Coupon Book Fundraiser (tentative) • Coupon book is $20 • 8th grade receives 50% profit. • Student who sells the most receives free prom ticket. • 2nd place will receive ½ off prom ticket. • Marlin Cup • Soccer game at Doral Meadows Park • Dances • Harvest and Winter • Pizza Sales • Parents are needed to assist in selling the pizza
Universal Studios “Gradventure” • Friday, May 8, 2015 • Depart from school at 11:00 a.m. /return to school at 4:00 a.m. • Price includes: • Bus • Park admission ticket • Meal ticket • Students will have full access to BOTH parks: Universal Studios AND Islands of Adventure! • iPods and electronic devices are allowed for the bus ride • STUDENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL OF THEIR BELONGINGS! • EBT IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST OR STOLEN ITEMS! • Students must wear appropriate jeans and 8th grade t-shirt
Promotional Ceremony • Ronald Reagan SHS • Monday, June 1, 2015 9 a.m. to Noon • This is a school-sponsored field trip – students are required to ride the bus TO and FROM the high school. • If parents would like to pick up their children early, they must come back to the school and sign them out at the office. • Dress code: • Girls: Dress OR skirt and blouse. • Skirts must reach the knee. • NO bare shoulders, spaghetti straps, or mini skirts • Boys: Suit OR dress pants, dress shirt, tie, belt and dress shoes • NO JEANS/SNEAKERS
Prom • Friday, May 22, 2015 from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. • Intercontinental Hotel • Dress code: • Girls: Party dress at the knee (bare shoulders/spaghetti straps ARE allowed) • Boys: Suit OR dress pants, dress shirt, tie, belt, and dress shoes • This event is for students only!
Behavior Contract • In order to participate in end-of-year activities, students must abide by the Upper Academy Behavior Contract: • 3 Detentions as of January 5, 2015 • Indoor/Outdoor Suspension as of August 18, 2014 • D’s or F’s in Conduct as of August 18, 2014 • 10 Unexcused Absences or Tardies as of January 5, 2015

Become a School Volunteer • If you are interested in attending ANY field trip this school year, you MUST be registered as a school volunteer. • Login to the Parent Portal. • Click the Application/Services and Sites tab at the top 3. Click on the "Be a School Volunteer!" link 4. Choose the school and activities in which you wish to volunteer 5. Go to the EBT office and show your identification for final approval. ***If you were a volunteer last year, you must still login and renew for this year!
