You can use Ir + a + infinitive • Vamos a estudiaren la biblioteca. • We’ll study (we are going to study) in the library. • Mañana,voy a escalarmontañas. • Tomorrow, I will climb (I am going to climb) mountains. • . Vamos a navegarpor internet. • We’ll surf(We are going to surf) the internet. We have already learned one way to talk about the future.

  3. You add these endings to the infinitive of any verb. é emos hablaré hablaremos ás éis hablarás hablaréis hablará hablarán á án Today we are going to learn how to form the future tense. You form the future tense by adding a special set of endings to the infinitive All verbs have the Same endings In the future Tense.

  4. We will arrive at 9. • Nosotros llegaremos a las nueve. • I will go home. • Yo iré a casa. • José and Linda will eat in an elegant restaurant. • José y Linda comerán en un restaurante elegante. • Will you watch The Simpsons? • ¿Mirarás Los Simpson? ¡Ejemplos!

  5. The dreadful irregulars! With some verbs, you have to change the form of their infinitive slightly before adding the future tense endings. Here are the irregulars. InfinitivesFuture Stem Decir Dir- Hacer har- Poner pondr- Salir saldr- Tener tendr- Venir vendr- Poder podr- Querer querr- Saber sabr- I will do my homework. Yo haré mi tarea. They will tell the truth. Ellos dirán la verdad. We will not have homework. ¡No tendremos tarea!
