El futuro. There are 2 ways to say you will do something in the future in Spanish…. 1. The IMMEDIATE FUTURE Ir a + infinitive of a verb = ….. going to. 2. The FUTURE …will…. To form the future tense we need to know the infinitives of the verbs…. _er. _ar. _ir.

  3. To form the future tense we need to know the infinitives of the verbs….. _er _ar _ir

  4. and add the following endings…. To form the future tense….. • Take the infinitive….. É I WILL (PLAY) ÁS (JUGAR) YOU WILL (PLAY) Á HE/SHE WILL (PLAY) EMOS WE WILL (PLAY) ÉIS YOU WILL (PLAY) ÁN THEY WILL (PLAY)

  5. Exercise 1. Form these verbs in the future tense: 1.mirar (they) 2.jugar (I) 3.visitar (he) 4.practicar (you, sing) 5.vender (we) 6.vivir (you pl) 7.montar (I) 8.cumplir (she) 9.entrar (they) 10.ir (I) mirarán jugaré visitará practicarás venderemos viviréis montaré cumplirá entrarán iré If you have finished these, look up some more infinitives and put them into the future tense yo - É,tu - ÁS,el/ella - Á, nosotros - EMOS, vosotros - ÉIS, ellos/ellas - ÁN
