Como se define? • 1)The future tense is used to tell what will take place in the future. • Yo jugaré en el partido esta tarde. • 2)It is also used to express a probability or possibility in the future. • Viajes especiales? !Interesante! Cuanto costarán? • 3) Lastly, it is used to express future events that will happen in the near future. The construction of ir a + infinitive. This construction is used in every day conversation. • Me vas a escribir, no? • Y yo voy a leer todas tus cartas.

  3. Como se forma? • The future tense is formed by taking the infinitive of the verb and adding the endings. • There is no need to drop the infinitive like AR, ER, IR of the verb. You only add the endings. • Comer- comer-é bailar-á All pronouns have accents EXCEPT nosotros!

The irregulars • 1) Stem change verbs • Decir- diré, dirás, dirá • Hacer- haré, harás, hará • 2) Some ER verbs change and the E drops • Haber- habré, habrás, habrá • Poder- podré, podrás, podrá • Querer- querré, querrás, querrá • 3) Some lose the E and I in the infinitive and add D • Poner- pondré, pondrás, pondrá • Tener- tendré, tendrás, tendrá • Salir – saldré, saldrás, saldrá
