Themes • If “Theme” field blank, the colors/layout come from theTaleo default theme. • To customize any colors/fonts/HTML of the NHP, you can add changes into a custom .CSS, which is to become a custom Theme. • Custom .CSS must get attached to a Support ticket, with the request to be uploaded as a v2 layout Theme. • Within 5 days support uploads theme and it becomes available. • After the new custom theme is available, it must be applied self-service by the Admin or Taleo Consultant typing its name into the Theme field on the Display Properties page.

  5. Taleo v2 Layout • Header and footer extend across page • HTML areas for text and graphics • Enforced sequence for task display • Instructions areas to aid task completion • Percentage-complete displayed • Let’s review layout . . .

Creating the CSS File • Create specs for your New Hire Portal Theme • Log in to Firefox and click on Firebug • Log in to the new hire portal with the following login: • URL:stgcsx.taleo.net/newhireportal/index.jsf(Note: do not put www in front of this URL, type it exactly as you see it) • Username: TBD • Password: TBD • Go to the CSS newhireportal_v2b.css • Click on the areas you would like to change and right click “inspect element” • Make changes and copy them to notepad • When all changes have been completed and the view of the portal is what you are expecting save as .css • Send CSS file to hcrall@taleo.com

Next Steps • CSX develop specs for New Hire Portal Theme • CSX create CSS file, send file and screen shot of the new look to hcrall@taleo.com • Taleo Support upload file in staging (5 day turnaround) and apply theme to new hire portal • CSX create and send Logo/Banner for New Hire Portal in .jpeg format to hcrall@taleo.com • Taleo Consultant upload logo/banner • Deadline: TBD • Taleo Support to load CSS file in staging/send screen shot to CSX for final approval • CSX to provide final approval in writing to Heidi Crall • Taleo support to load CSS file in Production
