Definition • Type 2 diabetes is a common disease that restricts blood from being able to naturally get to the human body's cells. This is because type 2 diabetes causes insulin to not work properly damaging cells. This disease could be life threatening.
Identify/define topic type 2 diabetes is when your body uses insulin abnormally. Insulin is needed to move your blood into your body’s cells. Without Insulin you could not live.
History/Origin type 2 diabetes was discovered in 1935 also when it was discovered it was clear that there were 2 types of diabetes this discovery was made by Roger Hinsworth
Signs/Symptoms • You may have type 2 diabetes
When should you consult a doctor about type 2 diabetes? if you think that you have type 2 diabetes you should contact medical help immediately. Since you could die if you have the disease
How do you obtain this disease? • Genetic, hereditary or environmental factors: If your family has a history of diabetes you are more likely to get it. If you are lazy and eat fatting food you are more likely to get type 2 diabetes.
Treatment/Managing the problem • The few treatments to type 2 diabetes are a good diet lots of exercise and a constant check in blood pressure
