Subject and Method
This study analyzes the attitudes and cooperation of 84 patients undergoing various orthodontic treatments, including active upper and lower removable appliances, functional appliances, and full bonded fixed appliances. Patient experiences regarding speech, swallowing, and breathing are assessed, alongside their preferences for wearing appliances in public. At a 6-month follow-up, clinician-rated cooperation was evaluated using the Orthodontic Patient Cooperation Scale, providing valuable insights into factors influencing treatment success and patient satisfaction.
