Landscape and Environmental Factors Affecting BMSB: Stepwise Regression Analysis

This study investigates the landscape and environmental characteristics linked to the Brown Marmorated Stink Bug (BMSB). Using forward selection stepwise regression with a significance level of α = 0.05, we analyzed 67 total variables, including 21 temperature-related metrics, 4 topographical elements, 4 climatic factors, and 38 multi-scale land use variables. The results provide insights into the environmental determinants influencing BMSB populations, aiding in management and control strategies.
