  4. As our Bishop He Directs us 1Peter 5:2 Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;

  5. AS OUR BISHOP HE DEFENDS US • Act 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

  6. Act 20:29-30 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

  7. Act 20:32 And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.

  8. AS OUR BISHOP HE DISCIPLINES US • 1Th 5:12-13 And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labor among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you; (13) And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. And be at peace among yourselves.

  9. Heb 12:6-7 • For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. • (7) If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?

  10. AS OUR BISHOP HE DRAWS US • 1Tim 4:12 Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
