The Department of Landscape Ecology at the Czech University of Life Sciences provides an inspiring environment for students to engage in meaningful research. Located in the scenic Kostelec nad Černými lesy, the department boasts facilities including a GIS laboratory, crucial for hands-on education through lectures, seminars, and thesis work. Students participate in various research projects focused on landscape remediation, reclamation post-mining, and holistic landscape analysis, contributing to their development and understanding of environmental sciences. Research outcomes include theses and scientific publications.
