  2. Fun Facts • During World War 1 starving wolves amassed in such great numbers that Germans and Russians had a temporary cease fire to fight off the wolf attacks. • After Germany surrendered in World War 2, people in Moscow partied until the entire city actually ran out of vodka.

  3. Pledge I pledge, on my honor,to uphold the Objects of Key Club International;to build my home, school and community;to serve my nation and God;and combat all forces which tend to undermine these institutions

  4. Membership • FORMS DUE TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! • Don’t have it? Don’t worry! • We’re sooooo nice that we’re giving you a 2 week extension to turn it in  (you are always encouraged to get new people to join Key Club, so during this time recruit others & get them to turn in their forms and money)

  5. JOIN KEY CLUB!!!!!!!!!!!!! • Tell your enemies, friends, best friends, classmates, siblings, peers, teammates, girlfriends, boyfriends, and even strangers to become a member of the largest and oldest student run service organization in the world :D • There will be a prize for the person who recruits the most new members* *they must indicate on their membership form that you were the one to get them to join Key Club (basically they must write down your name on the paper so we can keep track of how many members you bring in)

  7. Susan G. Komen: Race for the Cure • October 5th ( THIS Saturday) • Allen Parkway (Downtown area) • Pink Ribbon Café (should’ve already signed up, filled out forms & paperwork, been emailed, etc.) • Talk/coordinate with Cheryl about carpooling and what not • Have fun while Jami, Jeremiah, & I take the SAT 

  8. Stomp Out Bullying • Monday, October 7th • Wear a blue t-shirt • 1 hour of service • You ABOSULTELY, POSITIVELY MUST be in the photo to receive credit • Picture will be taken outside of Ms. Fader’s room at 7:15am

  9. CAPS • Howl-O-Ween dog walk • Saturday, October 26th • Set-up and break down • 7am-8am and 11am-12pm • Direct walkers • 9am-10am

  10. Volunteer Opportunity • “All That Glitters Isn’t Gold” Gala • Benefits Pediatric Cancer Victims • Saturday, October 12th • Distribute flyers • Saturday, October 26th • Welcome table • 7pm at Faith West • Please tell me ASAP if you’re interested

  11. T-shirts • The winner is: **you have the next 24 hours to suggest any MINOR/SMALL changes (i.e. color)** DCON shirts :D

  12. Trick or Treat for UNICEF • ALL of October • Turn in money to Ms. Fader (or any officer) • Club Goal: $500 • $15 = 1 hour of service • Up to 3 hours Seeing as we have a limited number of boxes please only take one if you are actually going to fundraise (do NOT take one if your parents are going to just write a check, etc.- you can put it in a plastic baggie or envelope!)
