Empowering Student Success: PBIS Strategies in Action at Meade High School
At Meade High School, our vision is to provide rigorous, relevant, and engaging instruction within a nurturing and culturally sensitive environment. With a large and diverse student population, we have implemented PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) since 2002. Our initiatives have led to a 2% decrease in student academic ineligibility and a 4% reduction in 9th graders failing classes from the previous year. Key programs include Dress to Impress Days, Mustang Support Program, mental health partnerships, and community outreach. Together, we cultivate school pride, academic success, and student involvement.
