  3. CONCEPTS In sports “slang” different words are used: Visualization, Imaginery, working with images, imaginary practice, etc.

  4. Imaginary technics: Is a meditation technique. Mind don´t only evoke visual images but, for instance, it also evokes auditive, olfative, and tactile sensations. Precisely what we call imaginary is a directed imagination.

  5. Three theoric models Psyco neuromuscular: mind doesn´t distinguish imagination and experience. Perceptual symbolic: Motor movement that enhances representation and perceptual organization,related with cognitive psychology.(MacKay, 1981). Improve concentration: aims concentration capacities.

  7. Which kind should we use? Mainly the image sharpness and vividness. That is why tests are used to evaluate the skill level. It is known that athletes who use both internal and external perspective obtain better results. Researchers point that imagination based on kinesthetic sensations are as important as the visual.

  8. Mental Practice: • Evoke a sunrise or sunset images in contact with nature. • Imagine the scene in slow motion. • Study and imagine the sequence again (ball-boots-shirt) • Repeat the sequence five times in more detail and add match plays. Imagine 10 times at normal speed and add an internal calm state.

  9. Imagination is the ability to fantasize. It provides benefits such as: • Reduce stress. • Help to plan a more effective future. • Increases creativity. • Beat the boredom. • Helps to achive goals.

  10. Video programs can be used to improve the skills of imagination. Commercially produced videos or other made for a group, are probably less effective than those designed for sports separately. THE MUSIC IS ANOTHER IMPORTANT POINT

  11. Record a voice protocol: • Define the objectives of the recordings display. • Prepare to make a recording. Design the script Modulate the voice Underline the main aspect of the competition that will come up.

RESULTS • The results were optimal on the first experience with elite players from the country (2001). • The captain (Coloccini) said he first were wary but after incorporated the work. • In 2005, a team that traveled to Holland and in which Messi took part, they were taught and given an audio tape to player.

  16. This model of work has been applied until today with other athletes and clubs. If we can see it, we can live it.
