  1. Advantages of Mayurasana 'Mayur' is a Sanskrit word and it implies peacock. Accordingly, mayurasana is a stance which accept the state of peacock during the asana. In this stance one needs to hold his entire body on like a stick on the two his elbows Mayurasana. It is otherwise called peacock plume posture and bowed arm balance.
