  2. Marty & Grace O’Hara • Marty is 13 years old, very energetic, very athletic, loves animals, and always protects his sister Grace. He has a photographic memory, and was adventurous as a child. He has gone to many outdoor camps, and is very headstrong. • Grace is 12 years old, very smart, scared of many animals, is a good swimmer, likes to write in a journal called a Moleskine, tends to faint, and relies on Marty when she needs help. • Both the kids parents go missing after a helicopter crash in Brazil. Their bodies were not located at the crash site when a search team was sent out to find them. Where their parents are located is unknown.

  3. Summary Marty and Grace get taken out of a prep school in Switzerland after their parents helicopter crashes, and they suddenly go missing in Brazil. The two kids soon learn of an uncle they did not even know existed, and go to live with him on his island. While on the island, they learn of their uncles plans to go to Lake Tele to search for two dinosaurs that may live in the Congo. The two kids want to go along, but their uncle will not let them. On their flight back to Switzerland, they accidentally fall out of the plane with Wolfe’s(their uncle) two animals. While there, they go on many adventures, while avoiding another person looking for two things: Grace, and the dinosaurs. The two kids find many things, and Grace overcomes many fears, and starts to stop fainting. But many things try to stop them, while Wolfe is in the Congo looking for them, and at the same time, looking for the cryptid species that killed his wife and took his leg.

  4. Reader’s Chair question • Q: To who would you recommend this book to? Why? • A: I would recommend this book to anybody that likes to read books filled with adventure and action becausethe book is fast paced and very good.
