Objectives • In depth assessment of national support schemes, regulatory frameworks and monitoring systems in the 10 participating countries, as continuation of the Best Practice Report • Joint proposal of Thematic Working Groups (TWG) members on how to improve current schemes to achieve national PV targets until 2010 and 2020, as well as options for alignment between national approaches from 2006 onwards PV Policy Group – 1st Meeting of Thematic Working Groups

Agenda • Morning session • Welcome & short presentation of the PV Policy Group Project • Presentation of Best Practice report • Discussion & approval of Best Practice analysis • Task allocation to Thematic Working Groups • Thematic Working Group on regulatory frameworks • Afternoon session • Thematic Working Group on support schemes • Thematic Working Group on monitoring systems • Report of the first National Core Group meeting in the Netherlands • Next steps, planning and close PV Policy Group – 1st Meeting of Thematic Working Groups

Approach • Three TWG, with participants from the research community, the industry, experts, utilities etc, and representatives from all participating countries, for the improvement and harmonisation of: • PV support schemes • PV regulatory frameworks • PV monitoring systems • Two meetings (10/2005, 4/2006) • Best Practice Report approval • Intstructions from ECG (European Core Group) consisting of the project partners • Discussions : exchange of experiences & collaborative efforts • Presentations of results (2nd Meeting) • Communication via email or www.pvpolicy.org (Member Area > WP5) • Rapporteur • Co-ordinates Thematic Working Group • Reports results to WP5 leader PV Policy Group – 1st Meeting of Thematic Working Groups
