EXAM SCHEDULE • Thursday, June 5 – NCFEs for SENIORS ONLY • Friday, June 6 – NCFEs for SENIORS ONLY • Monday, June 9 – ALL English II & 1st Period Exams • 2nd period Review Session & 2nd Period Sr. Exams @ 11:50 • Tuesday, June 10 – ALL 2nd Period Exams • 3rd Period Review Session & 3rd Period Sr. Exams @ 11:50 • Wednesday, June 11 – ALL 3rd Period exams • 4th Period Review Session & 4th Period Sr. Exams @ 11:50 • Thursday, June 12 – ALL 4th Period Exams • 1st Period Exam for ALL English II Students • Friday, June 13 – Make-Up Exams • Early Dismissal

  5. ** June 5 and 6 are regular school days and attendance will be counted for EVERYONE (including Seniors). Please do not lose credit because you think these are regular exam days.

  6. June 5th & 6th • Senior NCFE’s will be given on these days. • These are regular school days and attendance will be counted for everyone. Missing these days could cause you to lose credit for your classes. • Students will be transported to their testing sites. Students cannot drive to the testing locations. • Some Seniors may have morning and afternoon testing sessions, please check the schedule.

June 5, 2014 – SENIOR NCFE • Morning Session (SENIORS ONLY) • ALL Chemistry • ALL Physical Science • ALL Earth Science • Select English III & IV Students – these students will receive special notification of their testing session • Afternoon Session (SENIORS ONLY) • ALL Other English IV Students

  8. June 6, 2014 – SENIOR NCFE • Morning Session (SENIORS ONLY) • ALL US History • Select AFM • Select Civics/Econ • Select Math II • Afternoon Session (SENIORS ONLY) • AFM & Pre-Calc. • Algebra II • Civics/World History • Math II Select students will receive notification of their testing session

  9. Seniors will take CTE Exams (VoCATS) during regular morning testing sessions beginning on June 9th.No CTE Exams will be given on June 5th or 6th.

The Daily Schedule (June 9-13) • You will report to the appropriate exam period each day • Attendance will be taken in each class you report to during the day • For example: on June 9th , attendance will be taken when you report to your 1st period exam, and again 2nd period when you report to your review session/Senior Exam Session. • PLEASE NOTE: Senior exams take place each afternoon beginning on June 9 through June 11. This helps to ensure senior grades are complete before graduation.

  11. The Daily Schedule • There will be one exam each day • Exams will begin at 7:45AM each day • Students who are allowed to leave early, will be dismissed at ~11:05AM. Please do not plan to leave before this time. • This dismissal time will ensure that our EOC & VoCats exams are not disturbed. • No one will be allowed to leave the testing site (classroom) before the end of the testing session. • You must bring a note each day if you plan to leave early. The note must be turned in each morning • If you finish your exam early, you may bring a book to read.

The Daily Schedule • If you bring a note and plan to leave school early on June 9-12, please remember: • No one will be allowed to leave the testing site (classroom) before the end of the testing session. Dismissal is at ~11:05 • You are expected to leave campus immediately. If you have not left by the end of the lunch period, you will be expected to report to the afternoon review session. • No phone calls for rides will be made at dismissal. All arrangements should have already been made.

The Daily Schedule • At the end of the testing session: • Students who turned in notes will leave campus. • Lunch will be served at @ ~11:15. • There will be a Review Session for the next period exam each day after lunch. • These sessions are designed to help you, please take advantage of this opportunity. • Students who take their English II EOC on June 9th will take their 1st period exam on the afternoon of June 12. • On June 9-12, school will end at our normal time, 2:25PM. • June 13 is an early release day. All students will be released from school at 12:00 Noon.

  14. What I Really Want to Know??? • Do I have to come to school if I don’t have an exam on June 5 & 6? • June 5 & 6 are regular school days and attendance will be taken in all classes. Missing these days could put you in jeopardy losing credit due to absences. • What will happen if I don’t come to school on June 5-6? • If you do not come to school, you will be marked absent in each class period. • Can I lose credit for my classes if I don’t come to school on June 5-6? • Yes, if missing on these days cause you to obtain more than 10 absences, you will lose credit.

  15. What I Really Want to Know??? • Do I have to come to school if I don’t have an exam on June 9-13? • This is a decision that you and your parents have to make. We will have school everyday and encourage you to come to school. Remember all EOC, NCFE & VoCats exams are required. • What will happen if I don’t come to school on June 9-13? • If you do not come to school, you will be marked absent • Will I have to make up time if I don’t come to school and I get too many absences on June 9-13? • No, you will not have to make up this time missed. However you will be marked as absent. • If I miss school on June 9-13, will it cause me to have to take my exams? • No, it will not cause you to have to take exams. However, you will be marked as absent.

  16. Things to Remember • STUDY!!! – your teachers have prepared you well. Study and DO YOUR BEST! • Eat a good breakfast before your exams. • Don’t Stress • Please schedule any appointments after the exam period. • Remember to bring notes with permission to leave EVERYDAY!! Turn them in each morning. • We believe in you and know you will do a GREAT JOB on your exams. Thank you for the hard work you’ve done this semester!
