  2. Peter said, “Explain the parable to us.” “Are you still so dull?” Jesus asked them. -Matthew 15:15-16

  3.    Jesus loved them by praying for them

  4. “Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift all of you as wheat. 32 But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.” -Luke 22:32-32

  5.    Jesus loved them by providing for them

  6. 24 After Jesus and his disciples arrived in Capernaum, the collectors of the two-drachma temple tax came to Peter and asked, “Doesn’t your teacher pay the temple tax?” 25 “Yes, he does,” he replied. When Peter came into the house, Jesus was the first to speak. “What do you think, Simon?” he asked. “From whom do the kings of the earth collect duty and taxes—from their own children or from others?”

  7. 26 “From others,” Peter answered. “Then the children are exempt,” Jesus said to him. 27 “But so that we may not cause offense, go to the lake and throw out your line. Take the first fish you catch; open its mouth and you will find a four-drachma coin. Take it and give it to them for my tax and yours.” -Matthew 17:24-27

  14.    Jesus loved them by Seeing the Best in Them

  15. When Peter encountered Jesus for the fist time he said, “Get away from me I’m a sinful man”… Jesus said, “From now on you’ll catch men”

  16.    Jesus loved them by Spending time with them Choosing them Serving them Pursuing them Protecting them And more…

  17. The disciple Jesus Loved…

  18. This is who Jesus is to us. We must first receive Him and His Love if we are going to love others this way.
